Sunday December 27 Schedule
This Sunday morning there is no 8:30am service. Instead join us for Bible Study at 9:30am then enoy a combined 11am service in the Main Sanctuary. There will be no evening activities.

Thursday Ladies' Bible Study
The Thursday Ladies’ Bible Study will begin its new semester on January 7, 2010 at 9:30 am. Out study will be Priscilla Shirer’s latest book, One in a Million: Journey to Your Promised Land. Priscilla is the daughter of Dr. Tony Evans, Pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship. Want to study God’s Word with humor, candor, and forthright understanding? This is your chance! Ladies' Tuesday Evening Bible Study
On January 19, Travis’ Tuesday Evening Ladies’ Bible Study will begin its winter session with a new book by Beth Moore. Breaking Free: Making Liberty in Christ a Reality in Life leads you through a study of the Scriptures to discover the transforming power of Christian freedom. Based on Isaiah 61: 1-4, this in-depth study draws parallels between the captive Israelites and today’s believers. The group meets at 7:00 pm in the South Complex Dining Room. Tuesday Morning Ladies' Bible Study
The Ladies’ Tuesday Morning Bible Study will resume on January 26, 2010 with Beth Moore’s new course entitled Inheritance. This nine-week DVD series is a topical examination of inheritance throughout God’s Word. Sessions begin at 9:30 in WC 201-205. Heart of the Home
Heart of the Home is a Wednesday night offering from the Travis Women's Ministry designed for young women. The group will resume weekly meetings beginning January 6 at 6:15 pm in Room B-110. Jan Smith will serve as facilitator.
Churchwide Day of Prayer Thursday, January 7, 2010
In the year 2010, we have designated the first Thursday of each month as the Churchwide Day of Prayer. Three different prayer services with take place in the Upper Room (WC-201) at 6:30 am, noon and 5:30 pm. Please choose one of these one-hour prayer times to attend. There will be brief worship and a scriptural meditation followed by fervent prayer for revival in our lives, our church and our nation. This hour could change your world ... and your life.
Baptist Doctrines
Dr. David Downey is currently teaching a fifteen-week series entitled "Baptist Doctrines." The series will cover doctrines such as the Scriptures, the Trinity, God's purpose of grace, the church, and the ordinances-all from our distinctive Baptist viewpoint. Join him each Wednesday at 6:30 PM, in room WC-201.
