Karen joined the staff as Minister to Women in 2012. She served as a teacher and administrator in public education for 28 years and was Executive Director of Professional Development the last five years before retiring in 2008. Over the past 30 years, her involvement in women’s ministry has included leading women’s retreats, speaking and teaching in various venues, mentoring one-on-one as well as ministering in the marketplace. Karen loves to walk, drink coffee, watch all of the Dallas sports teams, read, laugh, and spend time with family and friends. She and husband, Kent, have a married son, Dustin, who with his wife, Lynn, have one daughter, Corinne.
