Dr. Wes and Sandi Black lead our Travis parent ministry. Dr. Black is Professor of Student Ministry and Associate Dean for PhD studies at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has spent many years teaching, researching, and writing in the area of student ministry. Sandi is a licensed professional counselor, currently in private practice, and has worked with teens in counseling at church, in the public schools, as a crisis counselor and as a drug counselor. Together they have 40 years of youth ministry experience and have spent over 20 years counseling families and teens. They are popular leaders of marriage retreats and enjoy leading parent seminars overseas each summer.
We encourage you to participate in these sessions designed to inform, encourage, and enlighten.
