From Blessed Expectations through the Kindergarten age, the Preschool Ministry at Travis Avenue is dedicated to serving the needs of preschoolers and their families.
Beginning with tiny babies, committed, well-trained teachers lay a foundation for the spiritual growth of Preschoolers through loving care and emphasis on appropriate Bible learning activities and experiences.
Sunday Morning
All Preschool Activities are located in the Preschool Building
8:30 am Worship ~ Child Care Available beginning at 8:15 am
9:30 - 10:40 am ~ Sunday School
11:00 am - 12:15 pm ~ Worship Care for Infants through PreK, age 4.
Worship Care is provided for preschoolers birth through pre-k age 4 during the morning Worship services. Kindergarten children attend Worship with their family.
Sunday Evening
5:45 pm ~ Preschool Child Care Available
6:00 - 7:40 pm ~ Preschoolers at Church ~ Activity Teaching Time for birth through Kindergarten
Parents pick up their preschoolers immediately following Adult activities.
Wednesday Night
Family Dinner Available, South Complex
All Preschool Activities are Located in the Preschool Building
5:45 pm ~ Preschool Child Child Available
6:00 - 6:50 pm ~ Music ~ 5 year pre-k through Kindergarten
6:55 - 7:45 pm ~ Mission Friends ~ 4 years through Kindergarten
8:00 - 9:00 pm ~ Extended Child Care for Sanctuary Choir and Orchestra rehearsal
Security Reminders For All Activities:
- Parents or an authorized adult must bring and pick up their children.
- Security tags are essential for the safety and security of your child.
- Please Label! Please be certain to label all of your child's belongings. Labeling will help us provide the most secure care for your child. We have sharpies available in every department for your convenience.
- Please help us by putting your requests to your child's teacher in writing . This will ensure that they understand your requests/instructions.
Christian Early Learning Center
Tuesdays & Fridays, 9:30 am - 2:00 pm
Ages 8 weeks through PreK
Beginning in the Fall of 2007, Travis Avenue will offer a 2-day-a-week early learning program for preschoolers ages eight weeks through PreK. Children will engage in age appropriate, multi-sensory activities designed to provide enriching social experiences, foundational educational preparation, and spiritual foundation building. Click here to download the registration packet. Space is limited, so reserve your spot by returning the completed packet to the Church Office as soon as possible. We look forward to serving you and your preschoolers through the TABC Christian Early Learning Center.

MOPS is an international organization dedicated to meeting the needs of young mothers with children ages birth through kindergarten. Our Travis MOPS chapter, just like the international group, is all about celebrating motherhood, meeting each other's needs, making connections, and experiencing God's love through relationships and resources.
