Maturing believers in their faith is of utmost importance here at Travis. Discipleship! Following Christ and walking in His ways are challenging tasks. My calling in ministry is to help people grow in their faith and encourage them to move to the next level in their walk with Christ.

Minister to Progressive and Senior Adults

As the Minister to Progressive and Senior Adults, I lead the team that ministers to adults who are empty-nesters through the oldest adults. This is an active group with hearts for ministry, serving, and having great fun and fellowship together. One of our key verses is Psalm 71:18, “Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, O God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your might to all who are to come.”

As the Minister to Preschool, I desire our team of talented preschool leaders to assist parents in laying a strong biblical foundation in their young child's life. The Preschool Ministry exists to provide a Christ-centered, biblically based learning environment that is safe, secure, and age-appropriate for preschoolers. Our Children's Ministry believes children are the key to the future. Our desire is to prepare them for that future, today. Children are welcomed into a loving, fun, and friendly atmosphere as they become involved in Bible centered, planned, age appropriate activities. As the Minister to Contemporary Adults, I lead the team that ministers to the families in our church who have students in our College and Student Ministry. I also lead our Men's Ministry and Recreation Ministry. Travis is a great church, and it is a true blessing to serve on a staff in the same church that I grew up in. Interim Minister to Students

As the Student Minister here at Travis, my goal is simple. It is to teach students to walk with God on their own. There is no question that today's teenagers face a wide variety of challenges and obstacles in their lives. Through strong Biblical teaching, cultivating community, and promoting regular acts of service, the Student Ministry hopes that teenagers all across the Fort Worth area learn to love Jesus and the Church in an authentic and real way.

We do this by offering a variety of ministry opportunities, Bible studies, and special events. Women of all ages are invited and encouraged to come be a part of these exciting times as we study God's word, fellowship together, and serve others.
