November 18, 2012 “It’s All About Me”

Today I’m bringing to a close this series of messages I’ve entitled “Hazmat … The Most Dangerous Ideas in Your Culture.” This hazardous material comes in the form of ideas, thoughts and philosophies that make up a person’s worldview. And that worldview shapes our attitudes and our actions.

For example, if my worldview includes the existence of the One True God, I understand that He is the source of everything and I praise and thank Him.

Psalm 103:1-2 – Praise the LORD, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.

Benefits mean that there is a Benefactor to whom I am grateful. So gratitude flows out of our worldview that God exists and He blesses us.
